Not only do you never know what's going to turn up in the way of interview requests, there are only so many pieces of candy you can eat before you have to put the box aside if you value your health and well being.
Marketing and promoting any kind of music, let alone Christian music, is a shaky venture to say the least. It's really not for the faint hearted since there is no accounting for taste. What I mean is that you can kind of try to get a feel for the pulse of the beat in this genre, but in the end it's all highly subjective.
Others have told me that this blog is a kind of ministry and that I'm building up the musical part of the Body of Christ by featuring indie musicians who have few options to be seen or heard and I'm down with that. I'll feature anybody who has a melody for God because who am I to judge another man's servant? However, my natural man does like some musicians better than others and I tend to promote them a little more aggressively on social media and through personal communications in real time. So kick me for that if you will but I don't care. Our Lord and Savior suffered worse for loudly promoting his Father's message but it was all good in the end.
So do yourself a favor. Bookmark this page and come back when you have some time and look at all the Christian music talent that I've had the privilege to feature in the past two months. They can be found here, here, here and here. Find your favorite flavor and indulge as much as you want because, unlike the real thing, spiritual candy is always good for you without limits!
